The history of Nagorno-Karabakh from 1915 to 1923 was a transitional period in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh from the First World War to Russia's Bolshevik revolution in the South Caucasus, when the territory was fought for by the Ottoman Empire (and later Turkey), Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the Soviet Union.
